This is the inaugural post. Just to have something up. Not to amuse, entertain or even captivate anyone, not just yet. I am going to Pakistan two weeks from tomorrow.
Before then, I'll have a more worthwhile post. Something about what I'm doing, etc. From then on, I hope to update this with at least fair regularity. And complete sentences.

- For a democratic society to function, all of its members must compromise. This happens either when they vote, when their representatives vote, or both. It cannot be acceptably avoided.
